Thibault Clidje, Hibernian's record signing, delivered an outstanding performance to help his team secure a 4-0 victory over Livingston at Easter Road, moving them to third place in the Premiership. The Togolese international scored the opening goal in the ninth minute and later won a penalty, converted by Jamie McGrath. Substitute Junior Hoilett added two late goals, ending Hibs' six-match winless streak in the league.
Hibernian dominated the match, bouncing back strongly after a disappointing derby against Hearts. Manager David Gray gave Clidje only his third start, opting to keep Martin Boyle on the bench following his international duty with Australia. Clidje's performance was pivotal, showcasing his potential to be a key player for the team moving forward.
