The trial of Harry Maguire related to an incident in Mykonos has been postponed for the fourth time due to untranslated court documents. Originally scheduled to begin on October 8 in Syros, Greece, the trial has been rescheduled for March 4, 2026. Maguire, a Manchester United defender, was arrested following an altercation involving his family outside a bar in August 2020. He was initially convicted of assault and attempted bribery of police officers, but his conviction was annulled pending a retrial under Greek law. Maguire's team has reportedly met all procedural requirements, but the documents have yet to be translated into English. Jean-Jacques Paradissis, the lawyer for the involved police officer, expressed confidence that the case will conclude next year before the statute of limitations expires in 2028.
